This shared philosophy of involvement through immersion creating a sense of ownership also drives us in all we do.

Patagonia

Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.
Patagonia Mission Statement

Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothes for climbing – as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. These are all silent sports. None requires a motor; none delivers the cheers of a crowd. In each sport, reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between us and nature.

Scientific Anglers

Every angler knows that the best way to improve fly fishing is to improve our aquatic resources. At 3M™ Scientific Anglers™, we're proud to do our part with educational, financial, and product contributions - as a company and as individuals - and we encourage you to do the same.

We use SA Mastery and Sharkskin series lines for bonefish and barracuda fishing and the Bluewater Express sink-tip lines for offshore angling. These lines have proven durable, cast well in all conditions and come in a variety of species-specific tapers to make the best presentations possible.

Temple Fork Outfitters

Core Angling uses and recommends Temple Fork Outfitters fly rods and reels. Our experience with the TiCr X and TiCr series rods has been excellent, especially in terms of their ability to cast in windy conditions and durability in the field. We’ve been using TFO's Axiom series 6wt. overlined with a Mastery series 7wt. bonefish line and have been amazed at the lightness of this rod which still has the ability to cast tight, accurate, loops in all conditions. Bluewater series offshore flyrods and Hayden III reels are used in the deep water fishery and we've had shots at mahi and tuna this year along with the occasional sailfish making an appearance.

Oakley

You’ve seen "made for angling" sunglasses before, but if you take a close look at their technology, something smells fishy. They probably give you a lens color that nudges up contrast, along with some bold claims about landing the big one. Don’t take the bait. We put real technology in our Fishing Specific eyewear. Some say it’s overkill. The pros say it’s essential gear.

The Core Angling Team uses Oakley Straight Jacket® sunglasses with fishing specific Shallow Blue™ Polarized, VR28™ Polarized and Amber Polarized lenses for bright, overcast and cloudy flats conditions. These optics provide a truer image of what we seek than any others we have used, with a secure and comfortable all-day fit.

Frontiers International
